Are PCOS & Endometriosis the same thing?

Hey, let me tell you something, PCOS and endometriosis ain't the same thing!! PCOS is when your hormones get all messed up and you grow small cysts on your ovaries. It can cause you to have whack periods, gain weight, get pimples, and grow extra hair in places you don't want it.

Endometriosis, on the other hand, is when the tissue that's supposed to stay inside your uterus grows outside of it and causes you a lot of pain and discomfort. It can show up on your ovaries, fallopian tubes, and other parts of your pelvic area. And let me tell you, the symptoms of endometriosis are no joke: it can give you really painful periods, hurt when you have sex, and even make it tough to get pregnant.

So don't get it twisted, folks. While both PCOS and endometriosis can mess with your fertility, they're two different conditions with different causes and symptoms.
